How Neo Air Source Heat Pump Works

Step 1: Heat Extraction

The evaporator absorbs heat from the surrounding air, even in cooler conditions. This heat energy transfers to the refrigerant circulating in the system, causing the refrigerant to evaporate and change into a gas.

Step 2: Compression

The refrigerant gas is compressed by the compressor, which significantly increases its pressure and temperature. This process prepares the refrigerant to release the absorbed heat efficiently in the next stage of the cycle.

Step 3: Heat Transfer

The hot, pressurized refrigerant passes through the condenser where heat is transferred to the water system. This heat warms the water and provides hot water for residential, commercial, or industrial use.

Step 4: Expansion

After releasing heat, the refrigerant passes through the expansion valve. This reduces the refrigerant’s pressure and temperature, converting it back into a cold liquid before returning to the evaporator.

Step 5: Continuous Cycle

The refrigerant continues circulating through the system, repeatedly extracting heat from the surrounding air and transferring it to the water. This continuous cycle ensures efficient and consistent heating performance.
